Welcome! If you’re a CTC Animated collaborator, you should have access to the Private Files section of this Notion workspace. Here are some guidelines on what needs to be in Private Files, and what’s safe to publish.
The following types of files should NOT be in the public area and should instead be placed in Private Files (see homepage):
- Project source files (examples: Tahoma2D projects, Davinci Resolve projects, etc)
Source files that can directly be opened and edited in the software we use with separated and unwatermarked layers/frames should be kept private. This helps protect against abuse - such as art theft or AI training. If you want to share info on unfinished work with the public, feel free to take screenshots instead. An exception to this rule is projects on Magma.com, as they are generally well-protected against copying.
- Full screenshots or downloads of copyrighted references (example: CTC pages)
While CTC Animated is a fan-art project and thus a derivative work, we’d like to respect the rights of the people behind references we use. If you choose to directly upload any copyrighted references to Notion, please keep them in the “Copyrighted References” section of Private Files.
The following types of content should NOT be posted in any part of this Notion workspace at all (not even Private Files):
- Passwords
Passwords for accounts should never be shared. If you want to share files in cloud storage (such as Dropbox, Google Drive, or OneDrive), use the built-in sharing feature available in most cloud storage services to share files without sharing your entire account.
